SUNOTEC positions itself as an integrated solution provider, covering all services from geology, procurement, engineering and construction services to operations and maintenance and re-powering of plants with a large focus on BESS.
Expanding our UK operations , we are looking for an QA/QC Manager .
Responsibilities: Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) for EPC projects; Responsible for the execution of the Quality Management System requirements; Reviewing and approving project plans, specifications, and construction documents for quality assurance; Ensuring all project documentation and construction activities comply with QA/QC standards and procedures; Ensuring all inspection and/or test requirements at all stages of process are carried out as per Quality Plan and Contract requirements; Collaborating with project managers, site manager, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met; Ensuring all construction activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and building codes; Ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken on non-conformities identified during execution of the project; Conducting regular site inspections and audits to monitor quality and compliance; Ensuring quality audit findings and relevant copies of the Quality System, QA/QC procedures, QI plans, Work Instructions, and Codes and Standards are available on site; Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on quality performance and any areas of concern; Conducting training sessions for employees and subcontractors on QA/QC procedures and best practices; Promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the project team; Coordinating with regulatory agencies and third-party inspectors to facilitate inspections and certifications.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; 3+ years of experience in QA/QC management of EPC construction projects; Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations; Proficiency in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
