Main duties include: Regular reporting of purchasing activitiesAssisting with invoicing queries and pricing correctionsProviding support during supplier auditsProcessing of information relating to new and existing suppliers, ensuring records are maintainedResponding to requests for information from line management, purchasing colleagues in Milan and suppliersSupporting ongoing revision and improvement of purchasing documentation and proceduresSupporting the overall team with administration support Taking responsibility for a work based projectAs we consider the Purchasing Assistant to be an integral part of the team we require the following: Good keyboard skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteGood organisational skills and ability to work on your own initiative in a fast-paced environmentGood communication skills, and able to liaise with people at all levels in the organisationFlexibility and good analytical skillsValid work experience would be beneficialA full clean driving licence is desirable A business related degree is essentialThe successful candidate must, by the commencement of employment, have the right to work in the UK.
