Your new role: As a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the finance team, ensuring the smooth processing of invoices and payments.
Your responsibilities will include: Matching purchase orders to invoices and posting to the accounting ledger.
Assisting in query resolutions including liaising with administrators/suppliers.
Performing weekly automated invoice matching runs.
Assisting in the preparation of reports to the local management team.
Monitoring the finance inbox and taking action as required.
Ensuring all supplier/subcontractor reconciliations are completed on time.
Updating the monthly balance sheet reconciliations file as required.
Providing any financial analysis as required.
Assisting in the internal/external audit where appropriate.
Any other ad-hoc finance work as directed by the Management Accountant.
What you'll need to succeed: Able to work quickly and accurately and under your own initiative.
Proven track record of meeting tight monthly deadlines in a very busy environment.
A high level of understanding around financial processes.
Excellent data analysis skills and intermediate Excel skills are necessary.
Ability to communicate financial information to a non-finance audience.
Microsoft Navision/Dynamics experience would be an advantage but not essential.
