The Role As a Pump Engineering Manager , you will: Oversee Pump Refurbishments : Manage the strip-down, in-progress work, final inspections, and testing of pumps and engineering components.
Provide Leadership : Guide and assist the works engineering team, occasionally rolling up your sleeves to provide hands-on support.
Client-Centric Repairs : Offer tailored repair solutions and keep customers updated on progress.
Support Workshop Planning : Collaborate closely with the Works Manager and shop supervisors to ensure work is executed safely and aligns with company H&S standards.
Ensure Quality Standards : Oversee inspection reports, product quality, and manage stock resources.
Embrace Innovation : Experience in thermodynamic pump monitoring and testing is a plus, but don't worry-training will be provided!
What We're Looking For We're seeking a leader who combines technical expertise with strong people skills.
If you have: Comprehensive Pump Knowledge : Familiarity with centrifugal pumps, including HSC, volute, axial flow, and vacuum types.
Technical Proficiency : A solid grasp of technical drawings and CAD.
Practical Engineering Experience : Hands-on expertise in industrial engineering within a supervisory or management role.
