Pump Engineer

Vector Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Pump Engineer on behalf of our client, one of the UKs fastest-growing providers of pump services.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled pump engineer with a strong background servicing and maintaining foul and surface water pumps, submersible pumping stations, and treatment plants.
Key Responsibilities: Routine Maintenance : Conduct planned maintenance on sewage and surface water pump stations, treatment plants, and booster sets.
Emergency Response : Attend in-hours and out-of-hours emergency callouts, resolving issues on-site to ensure minimal disruption.
Repairs : Complete repairs and remedial tasks with attention to quality and safety.
Ideal Candidate Qualities: Industry Experience : Proven experience working as a pump engineer on surface and foul water pumps.
Strong Work Ethic : Willingness to work in demanding conditions and get stuck in when needed.
Problem Solver : Practical mindset with strong troubleshooting skills.
Driving Licence : Full UK Driving licence Working Hours: Core Hours : Monday to Friday, 7 am - 5 pm On Call Rota : Participation in the 24/7 call-out rota is required.
Pay and benefits: Rate : Up to £41,600 pa depending on experience Overtime : Paid at time and a half Door to Door pay This role is ideal for an experienced Pump Engineer looking for a challenging, hands-on role with excellent earning potential.
