About the Role NB This is a fixed term contract for six months with possibility of extension We are seeking a highly motivated IB Publisher, with proven experience in an educational publishing environment particularly the IB market, to work on our market-leading list and to play a key role in the International Publishing team.
Responsibilities include: leading and developing content strategy researching the needs of teachers and learners in IB schools, and identifying opportunities for existing and new products and services to meet these needs working closely with the IB Commercial Products & Partnerships team on co-published resources commissioning products that are market focused working closely with sales, marketing and professional development colleagues to ensure that these resources are known about in schools and are used effectively identifying and recruiting the best authors and advisers project managing resources from idea through to publication as part of a business team We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: International K-12 strategic publisher experience, particularly in the IB market Experience of researching, commissioning and overseeing the successful delivery of print and digital projects.
Understanding of the challenges faced by teachers and secondary students when using English resources in an international and/or EAL context.
Financial literacy and the ability to assess and manage project viability.
Proven communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Previous IB commissioning experience.
