Public Relations Account Manager

Details of the offer

We're working with an award-winning communications consultancy as they look to add an additional PR Account Manager to their team.
Our client is incredibly proud of their long-standing relationships with some fantastic clients, in both the B2B and B2C arenas. This role is B2B, but these relationships are the result of sustained, high standards: it goes without saying that you'll share these values, too.
This is most definitely a key appointment within the company, where you will be given ample room to learn & grow, and benefit from working with some seriously talented people that will add real depth to your career. Typical sectors will include construction, engineering, property and financial, so plenty to broaden your horizons.
You will work with an experienced team of people that have a diverse range of specialist skills, from research and analytics to social media strategy and creative – giving you significant learning and development opportunities.
What we're looking for:
This role is ideal for anyone with well-rounded communications skills covering media relations, social media, creative campaigns, client/programme management and basic evaluation and measurement. You'll have great account handling skills, lots of initiative, a creative spark, and always looking for opportunities to help your clients prosper, and you won't mind getting your sleeves rolled up. Apart from your B2B expertise, you'll also have wider experience of PR & marketing as well as management skills to nurture and develop your team.
An agency background would be more than handy & it's essential you'll have a keen eye for a story and talent for writing compelling copy across a range of formats from press releases through to long copy and social channels.
Ideally, you'll also have a good grasp of the digital landscape, exposure to the B2B space, and be able to work collaboratively with their in-house design, web, social and content teams.
What's on offer?
An amazing office space in the heart of Manchester & their client portfolio is choc-full of amazing names, and if you want somewhere that will give you a strong sense of moral worth, it's here, along with a salary of between £35 - £38,000, plus heaps of other benefits, pension, healthcare, hybrid working pattern, that will make your work / life balance way easier than most.
