Bath and North-East Somerset (B&NES) Council has an exciting permanent employment opportunity, working within the Public Health Team, contributing to improving and protecting the health and wellbeing of those living and working in B&NES.
About The Role: We are seeking to recruit a dynamic Public Health Officer to support our drug, alcohol, suicide prevention and sudden death's portfolios.
You will be supporting drug and alcohol commissioning and be responsible for a variety of tasks from analysing data to developing and promoting health improvement campaigns.
This role has a varied portfolio, which will involve working in partnership with colleagues in the council, partners, and with communities, to support and take forward action on substance use, workforce development, suicide prevention and sudden deaths' reviews .
About You: We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Public Health Officer who is passionate about drug and alcohol work, prevention of deaths and leading work to create health promoting places for all our residents.

You will be based at Keynsham Civic Centre, Keynsham, but will be expected to work flexibly across the whole of Bath and North East Somerset.
