I am working with a PRU (pupil referral unit) in the East Lancashire area that is seeking passionate resilient learning support assistant to join their team in November.
The school offers education to students aged 11-16 who are unable to attend mainstream education due to their behaviours that challenge.
The class sizes are reduced to enable the children to be supported holistically and to meet all their individual needs.
The applicant may be required to work on a 1:1 basis with the children.
Requirements - Professional or personal experience of supporting with young people with SEND and/or Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication - Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships - A passion for working with SEND is essential Important information - £12.90 - November start - Temporary position with the view to go permanent for the successful applicant If you are interested in this position, please register your interest by attaching a copy of your update CV.
