Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a Sports Coach to work at a specialist High school in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
The school is for children aged 11-16 years old with significant social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Students attending receive a tailored curriculum best suited to their needs and ability and the school offers a fantastic approach to learning.
Behaviour here is challenging and often trauma led.
The role of a sports coach will be to assist the teachers in PE & outdoor activities, Horticulture and class excursions.
You may have the responsibility of taking small groups and planning sessions for those groups.
Alternatively, you may be asked to support students within the classroom settings too.
The school are looking for someone who is confident, dedicated and excels with working with children.
The role will consist of: Providing tailored support with working with children and SEN Creating a safe environment that allows children to have fun, learn and succeed Academic support 1:1 basis or in small groups Assisting the teacher The ideal candidate: Someone who can demonstrate the necessary nurturing qualities required to work closely with SEN children Ideally with previous experience caring for those with additional needs Teaching Assistant qualification is ideal but not essential Position Details: Location - Oldham Position - School Sports Coach Contract Type - Temporary Minimum Daily Rate of pay - £90+ Hours - 30am - 3.30pm (Term Time only) Monday - Friday Start Date - ASAP If this role appeals to you, please apply now.
