*Fusion Assets, NLP LLPNLC10 £39, - £45,The Council is seeking a skilled and highly motivated person to work within one of the key project teams within North Lanarkshire Council, Cartographic and Mapping Services.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to support the delivery of The Plan for North Lanarkshire which is the vision to improve equality and equity, boost the local economy, transform towns and communities, enhance opportunities, improve health and wellbeing and create jobs.Assets & Procurement's Estates Team is responsible for providing a full range of property management services to the Council.
This includes the acquisition, disposal, letting and strategic management of the corporate property portfolio utilising the Council's corporate property management system.The main duties of the post include the provision of a cartographic plan production service, providing a topographical land survey facility and carrying out land ownership/title deed investigation to manage and maintain the corporate land terrier.
It is essential that applicants hold an HNC level or above in Land Survey / GIS / Cartography or a relevant subject and have extended relevant property experience.
You must have experience using AutoCAD software and in the hardware/software used to survey land and property related data.
A knowledge of land ownership research and GIS software would be desirable.
To succeed in this role, you must be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to plan work and meet deadlines.
You will be categorised as a Hybrid Worker, therefore your main place of work will both be your home address and the Civic Centre, Motherwell.
