Property Inspector (Mechanical)

Our client is a local authority located in Aberdeen with a current requirement for a Property Inspector (mechanical)    Whilst in this role you will be required to;  Work with the public buildings team delivering repairs and maintenance to ensure building plant and equipment is compliant and well maintained.  Carry out on site inspections  Maintain statutory and mandatory records, issue instruction to mechanical term contractors, assist in managing contractor performance.  To be successful in this role; Qualified and experienced in commercial heating systems and ventilation systems with knowledge of fire suppression systems.
Have the ability to work within a team, ability to contribute at meetings, liaise with building responsible persons.  Using a variety of IT packages including email, internet and Microsoft applications (Word and Excel)  Essential for this role; SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Installation of commercial boiler maintenance and/or controls or any comprehensive training or accredited scheme to prove competence in boiler operation, maintenance, and safety.
