Project Planner (Gas) - Warrington Are you a skilled Project Planner looking for a new opportunity?

Your new workplace Its a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting a diverse range of industries including chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables, and food & beverage.
With extensive experience in both offshore and onshore facilities, they specialise in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases.

The Role As a P6 Planner, you will be responsible for providing cost/expenditure transparency, project controls, processes, and planning activities to projects and contracts.
This role requires a strong understanding of the NEC3/4 form of contract.

Key Responsibilities Develop and manage an effective project control strategy.
Ensure project schedules, including resource loading, critical path analysis, and progress monitoring, are adopted across all projects.
Collaborate with commercial managers, project managers, and engineers to achieve project objectives within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Establish cost engineering systems to monitor, control, and report costs.
Aid in the development, integration, and optimization of project programs.
Liaise with project managers to manage resources and expertise for successful project control activities.
Identify project risks and associated control measures, plus opportunities.
Assist in the development and monitor the performance of key contracts.
Review and approve all cost/planning information required for Monthly Project Board meetings.
Set up and lead Project Control Meetings.
Manage an NEC3/4 compliant program.
Ensure robust monthly project updates to the project risk registers and value analysis processes.
Integrate programs from various sources.
Implement progress monitoring and productivity measurement.
Define and issue the project work breakdown structure and estimating format.
Monitor expenditure and adjust budgets in accordance with the project change control system.
Experience & Qualifications Proficiency in P6.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related fields.
Experience with ERP systems, estimating software, and SAP.
PMO experience.
Knowledge of and experience using PowerBI and MS tools.
