On behalf of AWE, we are looking for a Project Planner Inside IR35 for a 18 months contract based Hybrid with travel to Aldermaston up to 3 days a week What if you could work on something that you can't test… but cannot afford to fail?
Something that could have spent years on a submarine, is launched into outer space (where the temperature is below -250c), comes hurtling through the atmosphere, being heated up and shaken and then must work?

As a Project Planner your main responsibilities will be: * Develop and maintain EVM compliant IMS in accordance with functional procedures and guidelines.
* Validate and verify schedule data provided by suppliers (internal and external to AWE) prior to appropriate incorporation within IMS.
* Create the Work breakdown structure, Resource loading, Project level IMS (Integrated Master Schedule), and Project-specific basis of scheduling document.
* Provide planning input to project throughout the project lifecycle at the appropriate level.
* Support the Senior Planner with emergent projects as directed by Business Management Manager.
* Provide Planning input to Investment approval and Change Control process, Risk and Opportunity process, and Peer reviews.
* Maintain personal level of subject matter expertise.
* Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
Essential: * Extensive experience as planner * Excellent stakeholder engagement * Experience in MS projects * Experience in project management Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
