Project Manager Solar (12 Month Ftc)

JDRoss are looking for a project manager (12 month FTC) for one of our key clients.
They are based in 17 different countries globally, including 8 across Europe.
Currently they work on utility scale ground mounted solar, C & I and BESS projects Key Responsibilities Lead the transition of projects through the project lifecycle right through to handover to customer and the maintenance teams.
Executing planning conditions prior to construction activity Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all preparatory work is completed on schedule.
Ensure all projects comply with the UK Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
Develop and maintain necessary documentation Quality Management: Enhance and update existing quality documents such as Project Quality Plans.
Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and implement corrective actions as required.
Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Budget and Programme Management: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
Develop and maintain project schedules through the installation phase, ensuring timely completion of all project milestones.
Ensure Milestone Payments are applied at the relevant agreed points Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to senior management and clients.
Technical and Operational Support: Utilise Microsoft Dynamics CRM for project tracking and management.
Provide technical support and guidance to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
Project Lifecycle Management: Apply strong understanding of project management lifecycle processes to ensure successful project delivery.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred Proven experience as a Project Manager in utility-scale solar PV installations.
Understanding of local authority planning applications and conditions Understanding of generation electrical systems and grid connection procedures G100/G99 Strong understanding of UK construction standards and CDM Regulations 2015.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Project, Excel.
Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
