The project: We have delivered some of the most complex and prestigious transport infrastructure throughout the United Kingdom and we are now looking to grow our business in the Northwest of England by bringing in passionate individuals who will thrive and excel as we continue to redefine the boundaries of ambition.
We are seeking talented individuals that want to join us as project managers that can work with us in our rail division.

Ensuring a safe and collaborative working environment where people thrive.
Leading multidisciplinary teams in matrix organisations to meet client outcome.
Managing and outperforming against the contract (typically NEC4).
Contributing to the review of project performance and production of reporting to drive continuous improvement.
Determining the project schedule and activities throughout the project life cycle.
Developing detailed project budget and forecast cash flows/milestones from approved budget.
Determining project risks and develop a project risk management plan (RMP), facilitating the risk review process and managing, monitoring, and mitigating project risks through the RMP.
Preparing monthly reporting, ensure reporting mechanisms are linked to on time on budget delivery and ensure implementation of project management methodology.
Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project.
You'll need to have: Previous experience working in a project management role on rail projects in the consultancy or client side division.
A strong NEC3/4 knowledge and you are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
A construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
