Project Manager - Private Assets Programme (6 Month Contract) Location: London A leading global investment management firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their strategic joint venture programme focused on private assets, via a world leading consultancy.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity (Inside IR35) offering 500 per day plus PAYE costs and holiday pay.
Role Overview: You will lead multiple critical workstreams within a major transformation programme, focusing on operational model implementation, governance frameworks, and regulatory applications for a new private assets investment management business.
Key Responsibilities: Drive end-to-end project management across multiple workstreams Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and timelines Coordinate with cross-functional teams including investment, compliance, and technology Lead requirements gathering and process analysis Design and implement governance frameworks and target operating models Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple business units Prepare detailed documentation including BRDs and process maps Monitor and report on project progress and KPIs Required Experience: Proven project management experience in financial services, particularly in private assets Strong understanding of private assets operations and governance requirements Experience in developing governance frameworks and target operating models Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools Excellence in stakeholder management and communication Track record of delivering complex regulatory and operational change Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP) advantageous MBA preferred but not essential This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant transformation programme within the investment management sector.
