Are You Ready to Lead High-Impact Projects in Liquid Processing?
We're seeking a Project Manager with extensive experience in liquid processing within the food and beverage industry to join our team.
If you've led complex, multinational projects up to £5 million , bring strong intercultural expertise, and thrive on driving project success with full financial accountability, this role could be your next big step!
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll take on full end-to-end project responsibility, guiding every phase from initial quoting through to commissioning and project closure.
What You'll Be Doing: Project Leadership : Oversee large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with our high standards and guiding cross-functional teams to success.
You'll drive all aspects of project execution, from planning and scheduling to commissioning, managing multiple teams without direct line authority.
Financial Accountability : Lead projects with full financial oversight, tracking costs, margins, and man-hour estimates to optimize outcomes and ensure profitability.
Stakeholder & Customer Management : Act as the main point of contact, managing complex stakeholder relationships and customer expectations.
You'll oversee reporting to steering committees and clients, maintaining clear, consistent communication at every stage.
Scheduling & Monitoring : Create and maintain project schedules, monitoring milestones to stay on track and ensure efficient resource utilization.
Site & Safety Oversight : Manage on-site activities through a site manager, maintaining high safety standards and ensuring health and safety compliance.
Risk & Change Management : Implement proactive risk management strategies, adapting to project shifts and handling claims and change orders to maintain alignment with scope, schedule, and cost goals.
Team Leadership : Lead and motivate a high-performing team of project engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement, while managing diverse, multinational teams.
Your Skills & Experience: Extensive Technical Expertise : 5+ years leading large-scale technical projects, ideally in liquid processing or food and beverage, with a deep understanding of industry standards and project methodologies.
Commercial Acumen : Skilled in legal and contractual matters, negotiation, and commercial project management, with a sharp ability to assess risks and maximize opportunities.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills : Strong intercultural and cross-functional leadership, excelling in team coordination and influence across multiple business units.
Certified Project Management : PMI certification (or equivalent) with practical experience managing complex multinational projects.
