We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Stevenage.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects using Prince2 methodologies.
Key Responsibilities: - Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources.
Ensure projects are executed according to these plans.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project timelines and costs.
- Budget and Schedule Tracking: Monitor project budgets and schedules, ensuring projects remain on track and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience: - Prince2: Proven experience in managing projects using Prince2 methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Time Management: Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects.
Desirable Qualifications: - Experience in an Engineering, Automotive, Aerospace or Defence industry or a related sector.
- Understanding of the challenges and opportunities across a Project Lifecyle.
- Knowledge of project management processes and tools.
