Job Advert: Project Manager - Electronic Patient Records (EPR) Location : Norwich (2-3 days per week onsite) Contract : Inside IR35, until March 2025 Rate: £208 per day Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to lead the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Design, Build, and Test (DBT) projects across three Norfolk-based NHS Trusts.
This role is critical for ensuring the successful configuration, implementation, and integration of the Meditech Expanse EPR system, contributing to high-quality, digitally enabled healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership : Define and manage the scope, timeline, and resources for the EPR project, ensuring delivery within set timeframes and budgets.
Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the three trusts to develop communication and engagement plans, leading boards, steering groups, and User Groups to maintain alignment on project objectives.
EPR Configuration and Best Practice Implementation : Apply subject matter expertise to configure EPR systems aligned with best practices across key clinical and operational pathways, including PAS, Order Management, Theatres, Maternity, and Oncology.
Change Management : Drive business change processes, including clinical engagement, benefits realization, and workflow optimization, to support a seamless transition to new digital workflows.
Required Experience and Skills Proven experience with EPR system configuration, particularly in Meditech, Cerner, or Epic.
Extensive knowledge of clinical and operational workflows in an acute hospital environment.
Strong project management background with experience in structured methodologies and tools.
Demonstrated ability to work across professional boundaries and lead transformational change initiatives.
