The (Senior) Consultant: Project Manager has the responsibility to run projects on a day-to-day basis in line with the agreed specifications and commercials.
The (Senior) Consultant: Project Manager serves as a coordination point between the different functional teams to ensure proper alignment and focus.Areas of Responsibility:Drives the definition of the client solution, project structure, and project initiationDrives the creation of the Statement of Work document - define project scope, objectives, timeline, budget etc.
for the projectDelivers the key project management office deliverables, such as project plans, status reports to stakeholders, RAID logs, dashboards, budget/cost monitoring and control, etc.
Coordinates with other functional team members to ensure proper resourcing and prioritization for the projects and sets client expectations accordinglyMonitors project progress and performance to ensure timely delivery and identifies and implements adjustments and improvementsEnsures financial management of the projects across the wider team ensuring that all parties are working within defined budgets and the necessary audit and monitoring controls are in place and adhered toEnsures effective communication across the wider project team to achieve a high level of clarity as to responsibilities, ongoing activities and necessary coordinationWorks effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementationDevelops excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholdersManages enhancement requirements and translates them into the change & configuration management processEnsures alignment of the internal and external technical teams involved in the implementationExpected over time to lead requirements definition discussions with the client and drive the necessary documentation as input to the SW development teamCoordinates UAT, Go-Live, and post-implementation support as necessaryHas a detailed understanding of the organization strategic priorities and is able to drive these in the daily course of businessApplies industry best practices, methodologies, tools and standardsActively contributes to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and toolsKey Qualifications:Minimum 5-year proven project management experience, preferably within an IT environmentProject Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or similar)Bachelor's degreeFluency (written and spoken) in English (mandatory) and German (preferred)Experience of working in client-facing environmentStrong communication skills to support frequent customer contactHigh level of self-organization, problem solving ability, proactivity, and attention to detailExcellent analytical skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize tasks with competing deadlinesExhibits strong teamwork and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Project Management Software Tools, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools - Ability to quickly understand new SW solutionsWillingness to travelAbility to work independently on a client sitePreferred Qualifications:Previous experience in technical consulting and/or business process engineeringAGILE Methodology (desirable)Background in SW Development or Business Analysis (desirable)If this exciting opportunity could be of interest - please let me know ASAP.
