The MEP project management function is a key element of our turnkey service, as it enables TSL to offer a responsive, flexible and competitive design approach tailored to our client's requirements, as well as offering continuity of design from conception throughout construction and final handover of the facility.
The MEP Project Manager is to lead the design and installation of all MEP systems on their assigned construction projects.
Key Responsibilities: Managing the procurement of M&E packages, including setting cost, scope and time targets.
Reviewing tender returns.
Managing the design of M&E systems from RIBA 4 to 5.
Working closely with a team of project planners to develop a sophisticated programme to allow better tracking of installation through to commissioning.
Train and assist staff on the development and creation of the TSL GmbH Data Centre.
Responsible for delivering the M&E work packages in line with the project programme alongside the project team and subcontractors.
Constantly portray a professional image to colleagues, senior employees, and Client in person and in all communications.
Promote and foster a strong, ethical, friendly, and efficient team culture and working environment.
Remain within the remit of the role and when additional responsibilities need to be carried out, conduct this in a fully informed manner with the approval of your Line Manager.
Constantly maintain an upmost level of confidentiality and discretion with all information pertaining to the business, the Directors, information that you learn / obtain, colleagues and business activities in general.
Improve team performance and foster improved communication skills within the team.
Provide knowledge, expertise, and experience in Data Centre Projects.
Skills and Experience Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or closely related disciplines.
Excellent communication skills.
Good understanding of MEP and managing design development from RIBA 4 to 5 and change control.
Thorough knowledge of safety standards.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in MEP and project management for high value infrastructure projects in the UK and Europe
