Job Advert: Project Manager
Location: South of England
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)
Perks: Company small van provided, with occasional overnight stays required (1 night/week max).
Purpose of the Role:
My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the installation process and manage installer teams, ensuring commercial projects are delivered with exceptional customer service. In this role, you'll also maintain control over customer debts and keep the debtors' list within acceptable limits.
Key Responsibilities: Team Management:
Manage teams of installers and other resources to ensure departmental efficiency.
Enforce and monitor KPIs for installation staff, including self-employed contractors.
Ensure all contractual obligations are met. Project Coordination:
Arrange and manage all relevant paperwork for jobs, including Works Programmes, RAMS, and wages.
Provide regular management reports on customer records, installations, and debtors.
Communicate with customers throughout the installation process, ensuring excellent service. Health & Safety:
Enforce and monitor health and safety compliance on-site.
Arrange necessary training for installation staff.
Handle site issues swiftly to ensure resolutions. Training & Development:
Monitor and arrange training to maintain high-quality installations.
Raise and address non-conformance issues promptly. Customer Excellence:
Set and communicate targets for the team to ensure smooth project completion.
Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver on all contractual obligations. Personal Specification: Essential Skills & Qualifications: CSCS Card Holder SMSTS Qualified Strong organisational and planning skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional people management and communication skills. Strong customer service focus (both internal and external). Contractual and Health & Safety knowledge. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office. Desirable Traits: A positive, "can-do" attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong influencing and leadership capabilities. Additional Details:
This role may involve staying away one night per week.
Industry experience is essential for this position.
Travelling required in the role.
