We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and delivery of web development projects for a range of clients.
This is a client-facing role, ideal for someone who excels in managing client relationships, coordinating teams, and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
The successful candidate will have experience managing multiple projects at once, strong technical knowledge, and an ability to keep track of day-to-day tasks for both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: Client & Team Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their requests, feedback, and expectations.
Ensure that all client communications are handled professionally, efficiently, and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Project Maintenance: Oversee the ongoing maintenance of multiple client websites, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely manner, including bug fixes and the addition of new features as requested by clients.
Trello & Project Management Tools: Manage project workflows via tools like Trello and Basecamp, ensuring that all tasks are tracked and deadlines are met.
Work closely with the development and design teams to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth delivery.
Weekly Meetings & Notes: Lead weekly client meetings and internal team catch-ups, ensuring all action items are captured and that all parties are aligned on project progress.
Take clear, detailed meeting notes and follow up on outstanding tasks.
Technical Oversight: Possess a strong technical understanding of web development processes, including content management systems (CMS) and the basics of how websites are built.
Work closely with the team to ensure that client needs are addressed, and the technical aspects of projects are understood by both the client and the development/design teams.
Collaborative Team Management: Coordinate with a small team of 1-2 developers and designers, ensuring that tasks are clearly assigned and deadlines are met.
Ensure the team is on track and focused, and manage any blockers or issues that arise during project execution.
Multi-Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, balancing client needs, internal team priorities, and deadlines across various projects, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.
Client-Facing Leadership: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, keeping them informed about project status, timelines, and any potential challenges.
Be proactive in offering solutions and ensuring client satisfaction at all stages of the project.
Key Requirements: Experience: 4-5 years of experience in project management, ideally with a background in managing web development projects, teams, and client relationships.
Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background with a good understanding of content management systems (CMS), website development, and how different systems (Trello, Basecamp, etc.)

Familiarity with web technologies is a plus, but deep technical expertise is not required.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information in a way that clients can easily understand.
Strong interpersonal skills for managing client expectations and leading a small team.
Project Management Tools: Experience using project management tools such as Trello, Basecamp, or similar platforms to manage projects, track tasks, and ensure smooth communication between clients and the team.
Client-Facing Experience: Proven ability to manage relationships with clients, understand their needs, and ensure satisfaction.
Must be able to work across multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think on your feet and address issues as they arise, whether they're related to client expectations, team performance, or technical challenges.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with web development processes and basic knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies.
Experience working with US-based clients and managing time zone differences.
Knowledge of innovative or non-standard web projects, and the ability to manage more complex, creative client requests.
Working Environment: You will manage a portfolio of 8-10 projects at a time, working across a range of clients including US-based clients (one client may require occasional work outside standard business hours).
Projects will vary from routine maintenance and bug fixes to more innovative, custom web solutions, offering a dynamic work environment.
You will work closely with a small, agile team of developers and designers, providing leadership, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
