The role: As an Onshore Wind Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the success of their wind farms from pre-construction through to operation and maintenance.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team, overseeing all project phases, ensuring they stay within budget, meet deadlines, and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include: Managing day-to-day operations of wind projects during the pre-construction and construction phases.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
Collaborating with internal teams to define project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensuring compliance with UK regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
What we're looking for: A minimum of 3 years' experience managing onshore wind projects, civil engineering projects, or large construction projects.
Strong commercial acumen, with a clear understanding of project budgeting, procurement, and contract management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
A problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage risks and keep projects moving forward.
