We are recruiting for a Project Manager to support the UK&I Integration Manager in driving the execution of complex integration projects as required including entity consolidation and rebrand activity.
This individual will act as a primary contact for key operational stakeholders in the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring they achieve the core objectives and timescales.
Overview of duties: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and drive the delivery of detailed project plans Co-ordinate in-house functional teams and third-party professional services firms (consultancy and legal) in the delivery of specific workstreams within each project Support the UK&I integration lead in establishing appropriate governance and assurance controls to facilitate decision-making, manage strategic risks and ensure business readiness for change Identify and escalate cross-functional risks, issues, and decisions that arise, facilitating their mitigation and resolution with the programme team and business stakeholders Identify, track and manage critical interdependencies across various workstreams including finance, tax, regulatory, operations and restructuring Chair project delivery groups and report progress to the relevant Steering Committee and Integration Management Office Solicit inputs from operational stakeholders to facilitate change management and retain pace of change alongside all other change efforts Document processes and build out templates and tools to ensure repeatable processes Person specification: Knowledge, skills and abilities: Versatile project manager with a "roll-up their sleeves" attitude to take on multiple roles within a project to ensure quality and on-time delivery Familiarity with project delivery and change management methodologies and approaches.
A keen ability to build and execute a plan and deliver results and act with a sense of urgency Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a proven ability to prioritize and manage time well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Ability to collaborate and quickly build effective working relationships Education / and or Experience: 3+ years of project management experience with direct accountability for project delivery Hands-on experience of managing complex change programmes in dynamic environments Experience in insurance operations and/or benefits operations preferable Experience in managing third-party vendors and teams preferable Key information: Hours: Monday – Friday, 35 Hours Location: Birmingham - Hybrid If this sounds like something you are interested in please apply, or contact Lucy Reed for further information.
