Location Alconbury - Travel to the other regional offices is encouraged and at times there would be requirement for business travel (costs of business travel covered by the Company) The Role The role covers Urban&Civic's existing strategic land site at Alconbury Weald and would be within the existing Project Management team working on the development consisting of Associate Director of Project Management, Project Manager and Graduate Project Manager.
A relevant industry relate degree would be good to have but we are open to al applicants with a minimum of 5 years experience.
for this role you will need to hold a valid UK driving license.
It involves ensuring work streams are planned, procured, delivered, and reported in line with the broader business plans.
As such, the position plays a key role working across project management and wider development teams, supporting, and directing the significant investment and commitment Urban&Civic continues to make.
The role also includes specific Health & Safety liabilities in ensuring Urban&Civic's role as duty holder under the current CDM Regulations is discharged.
Responsibilities Planning and Design Provide Technical and Delivery knowledge to support planning applications and the preparation of Design Codes including procurement of Technical Reports/Studies to support planning applications.
Appoint consultants to supply the necessary infrastructure design, technical approvals, tender and construction information and manage the technical approval process with the Local Authority.
Commercial Feasibility, Estimating and Cost Planning, Procurement (Contractors), Procurement (Consultants), Financial Management and Reporting, Contract, Applications for Payments / Variations / Claims Resolution.
Delivery Programming, Construction Management, Risk Assessment and Management, Document Management and Change Control, Contract Documents, Health & Safety including procurement that the 'Client' duties under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations are satisfied.
Technical Management of Utilities, Adoptions and Bonds.
Development Produce Housebuilder Technical Pack, Preparation of the supporting documents for sales, assist with technical input to development matters including planning applications, lease and agreement for lease documentation, licences etc.
Estate Management and CCP Ensure handover to completed areas to Estate Management team for ongoing, pre-adoption, management and maintenance.
Support CCP Department in matters relating to construction of project and/or of a Technical nature and attendance at Community Events, as and when required.
