We're making remarkable progress and growing fast. About the role Riverlane holds several externally funded grants and contracts.
We also run internally funded projects with quantum hardware partners and internal R&D projects. The Project Manager will provide efficient and effective management of these grants, contracts and projects.
These include Innovate UK projects, projects with quantum hardware partners e.g.
SBRI testbeds, Rigetti, etc., and internal R&D projects (for example, leakage).
The role will include support for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to plan external and internal projects, as required. What you will do In this role, you will be hands on and involved in: New project planning: Helping to build and develop the project plan for upcoming new projects.
This will include scoping out the projects across Riverlane, from Quantum Science through to Engineering, to build a detailed project plan. Clearly identifying and flagging interdependencies in workflows to ensure the project plan(s) can be delivered effectively. Efficient execution of grants, contracts and projects: Organise project meetings and set-up and deliver project plans (Gantt charts etc.
) Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. Ensure paperwork and formalities are in order. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure externally-funded projects/grants are well managed, including overseeing kick-off meetings, quarterly progress monitoring meetings, updating risk registers and second-level project plans. SLT support: Alongside the project planning and delivery, help the SLT to understand their teams' resourcing requirements and feed into the planning.
