Project Manager - Cybersecurity Job Overview Join our client as a seasoned Cybersecurity Project Manager , where you'll spearhead critical initiatives and implement robust remediation solutions.
This dynamic role requires seamless project execution and effective stakeholder engagement.
Location: Cambridge (Hybrid) Daily Rate: £700 per day through umbrella Contract Length: 6 months Key Responsibilities Project Management: Oversee end-to-end management of cybersecurity projects, understanding dependencies across initiatives and portfolios.
Methodology Adherence: Deliver projects within our client's defined methodology, following EIT Value Delivery Office guidance.
Resource & Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage internal and vendor resources, establish clear communication and escalation routes, and manage expectations.
Benefit Delivery: Ensure the delivery of project benefits by understanding the business case, validating assumptions, and managing financials and risks.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a geographically distributed team, coordinating efforts with tower teams, scrum masters, and the portfolio office.
Reporting: Complete weekly project status reports and route to green reports using VDO templates.
Issue Resolution: Identify project blockers and use the escalation process to engage stakeholders for support.
Change Management: Adhere to our client's change management process and CAB reviews.
Must-Have Experience Proven experience in planning and delivering cybersecurity projects.
Experience working on multi-stream, complex programs.
Expertise in managing risks, issues, blockers, and escalations.
Solid experience with Jira for planning work.
Preferred Qualifications PMP or Project Management certification.
Agile credentials or similar.
CompTIA+, CISSP certification, or similar.
