Focused on early-phase clinical trials, we are looking for a Development Project manager on a contract basis to and manage day to day ooerations and maintain project timelines.
This role is integral to the success of research projects, ensuring they are conducted efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with all relevant guidelines.
Key Responsbilities Project Management: Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of development functional and asset-related projects.
Develop and maintain integrated project timelines, monitoring progress to ensure milestones are met.
Implement applicable project management tracking and communication tools Maintain risk register and decision logs.
Support asset teams in preparing reports and presentations.
Contracts, procurement and systems: Act as the primary point of contact between the asset/development team, business operations & legal, finance and external CROs.
Manage and oversee the legal/contracting process required to engage and manage all development 3rd party vendors and consultants.
Support effective implementation and operation of development systems and processes, including internal data storage and data integrity/confidentiality.
Track CRO and external vendor activity and integrate with internal systems.
Budget and Resource Management: Assist in the preparation and management of development and asset project budgets.
Ensure efficient use of resources and manage procurement of necessary supplies.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biology, biotechnology, chemistry, clinical research, pharmacology).
A master's degree or higher is often preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in project management, preferably in a biotech or clinical research setting.
Skills Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in data management and analysis tools.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines and quality management Personal Attributes Detail-oriented and methodical.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project needs.
