We are looking for a Project Manager experienced in implementing CI/CD Pipeline Solutions for a 12 Month contract based in Bristol on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.
Purpose of the Role: The Project Manager will initiate and manage one or more projects as part of the CI/CD Pipeline solution implementation.
Work collaboratively with the Programme Manager on the tactical and strategic projects as detailed in the scope of the Programme.
Liaise with other Project Managers within the IT Capability Towers, Business Stakeholders, Technical Team, IT Vendors and the Senior IT Leadership to ensure successful project delivery to planned budget, schedule, requirements.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for: Implementation of a CI/CD pipeline solution for Applications and Infrastructure as code.
Transition of the CI/CD pipeline into Service for use across the Enterprise.
Work closely with Solution Architects to deliver the scope elements for the projects under the programme of work.
Providing regular updates to the Programme Manager, Portfolio Manager, and other Stakeholders.
Providing Financial data on a weekly basis to track progress of the project.
Providing project oversight identifying gaps and facilitating effective communication channels and escalation paths for project leads, team members and stakeholders.
Providing visibility to the team of the documentation required to pass the quality gates and ensuring compliance with the Group IT project delivery process.
Ensuring that projects are formally closed with all project documentation stored appropriately.
Ensuring assigned projects manage scope following the change request process.
Management of 3rd Party Vendors throughout the project, programme and Service Introduction life cycle ensuring that scope delivered is as per contracted.
What we require from the candidate: Must be capable of obtaining a Full UK SC Clearance without any conditions.
Be desirable to have experience in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and/or Red Hat OpenShift.
Must have experience of implementing automation of applications and infrastructure through a CI/CD pipeline solution.
Experience of delivering solutions where infrastructure as code has been a key objective.
Experience of delivering an application deployment solution onto a cloud platform.
Experience of delivering projects within government classification framework.
Financial management and commercial awareness.
Vendor management and procurement expertise.
Team management, communications skills.
Strong Project Management methods - planning, risk and issue management, etc.
