Project Manager - Aerospace - Cheltenham

Role: Project Manager/Customer Programme Leader Location: Cheltenham Rate: £35-£60 per hour (Umbrella, inside IR35) Duration: 12-month Contract Are you ready to take the lead on an exciting NPI programme?
We're looking for a skilled Customer Programme Leader to manage key hardware deliverables, ensure production readiness, and drive cross-functional collaboration to meet critical business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain project schedules (IMS) aligned with NPI development timelines.
Coordinate across engineering, sourcing, production, and other functions to ensure delivery.
Communicate progress and plans effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and contractual commitments.
Lead production readiness reviews, from initial design stages to entry into service.
Drive on-time delivery, address quality issues, and manage financial disputes.
Support risk management, obsolescence planning, and cost-reduction activities.
Organize and lead customer meetings, ensuring successful outcomes.
Qualifications: Background in project management, ideally within aerospace/engineering Desired Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Analytical mindset with a focus on decision-making and prioritization.
Proven ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
