Project Management Officer

PMO – 6-Month Contract Location: London This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team, serving as a senior PMO responsible for managing a strategic programme.
You will play a key role in overseeing and implementing PMO standards across project phases while engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee project delivery quality assurance.
Develop, implement, and embed PMO standards across all phases of the project.
Lead financial control and reporting for the programme.
Manage the integrated programme plan and associated dependencies.
Prepare high-quality programme-level forum papers, agendas, and reports for senior review.
Ensure materials are accurate and meet the standards required for executive, board, and regulatory reviews.
Facilitate governance meetings, including managing actions and ensuring alignment on decisions.
Run programme forums and support stakeholder negotiations to aid decision-making processes.
What We're Looking For: Proven PMO experience managing business-driven initiatives with cross-functional delivery impact.
Expertise in financial management, including cost/resource forecasting and management reporting.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, and Visio.
Experienced within complex programmes within Tier 1 Banks Preferred Skills: Experience working across multiple sub-teams, divisions, or geographies.
Strong team-working skills, including effective collaboration within a remote team.
