3 days per week on site, but sometimes it may be less and sometimes it may be more, depending on project requirements Permanent (37.5 hours per week) £45,000 - £85,000 (different level roles available) SC or DV Cleared, or willing to undergo Our client has been really successful growing their Infrastructure business within Defence and therefore need a number of Project Management Consultants at different levels to join them as they successfully deliver complex and critical projects to their clients!
The ideal candidate will have worked within Infrastructure/Construction before within a Defence environment, and be passionate about helping clients solve problems in a cost and energy efficient way!

Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality project and programme management across the whole project lifecycle for complex Infrastructure Projects.
Advise clients on the project cost and budgets, ensuring cost efficient delivery.
Advise clients on best-practice project, programme, risk and issue management.
Lead communications and relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Produce monthly reports including project programmes, risk registers etc.
Implement effective and efficient communication tools.
Develop delivery plans for projects, involve others and ensure objectives are met.
Contract/commercial management – specifically NEC contracts.
At the more senior levels, lead and manage multi-disciplinary professional teams.
Key Skills: Experience within a similar environment, either as an MOD employee/Civil Servant, or working for a Defence supplier.
Experience of infrastructure projects and/or programme management across the project lifecycle.
Be a champion for the adoption of project management best practice standards and techniques.
Hold a Project Management and/or Construction Management qualification.
Be excellent at managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team.
Knowledge of pre and post contract and commercial management responsibilities.
Significant experience and a working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts is required.
