The Opportunity: We are looking for a Project Leader to head up the team on the Monklands Replacement Hospital Project. NHS Lanarkshire's ambition is to deliver Scotland's first fully digital and net zero carbon hospital through the Monklands Replacement Project (MRP). The new hospital is a hugely significant capital project with massive benefits for healthcare, the economy and local community across Lanarkshire and Scotland.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with our peers across the Laing O'Rourke Group to deliver 'One Team for Real', leading from the front with consistent 'One Team' behaviours. Lead a project team to ensure successful delivery on projects to a defined cost, time and quality requirements. Be able to influence the decision making of the project team to suit requirements. Deliver consistent and reliable performance across all our projects in the UK. Utilise our in-house specialist capabilities at every opportunity, creating a common understanding of our collective strength. Be rigorous in challenging all aspects of our cost base ensuring we are efficient and cost effective in delivery. What will the role look like? People Management Corporate Social Responsibility Leadership Health, Safety and Environment Champion Stakeholder Management / Client Relationship management Project Leadership & Delivery Project Team Management IT & Business Process Management What skills & experience are we looking for? ONC / HNC / Degree in relevant discipline Proven track record in major multi-service project delivery and project management. (budget £10 - £70m) Previous role held as a Project Leader with successful delivery model achieved for all stakeholders. Effective communicator Good leadership skills and experience Good understanding of MEP systems and integration into the building environment Strong team ethos Thorough commercial awareness Don't match all the criteria?
