Job Title: Project Lead

Salary: £40,100+ depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing: This role will require you to perform advanced project reporting & scheduling. You will identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project, ensuring you apply appropriate Project Management methods and tools, whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches. Agree project approach with stakeholders, and prepare realistic plans (including quality, risk, and communications plans) and track activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate. Ensure you have a comprehensive knowledge of Business processes and procedures. You will have the ability to manage the full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time, the needs of customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved. This is a role for an experienced project professional with a small team and the ability to deliver with limited guidance from the Line Manager. You'll also have people manager responsibilities in this role. Your skills and experiences: Essential Comprehensive Project Management experience demonstrated in a professional capacity and the specialist skills to ensure procedures are followed with the ability to define the standards which others will operate. Guides others in the application of Project Management processes. Comprehensive understanding of one or more Project Management tools, techniques, and practices. Good knowledge and experience of Project Management governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs). Typically an Assessor for Life Cycle Management (LCM) Reviews. Knowledge acquired through job-related training and on-the-job experience with theoretical and practical skills. Desirable Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of PM policies, processes, procedures, and systems.
