Project Engineer A Project Engineer is sought to join a leading provider of factory automation & robotic systems.
A project background in special-purpose machinery or automation / automated machinery would be ideal.
You must already live in the Gloucester area.
A solid project engineering background in engineering or manufacturing is essential - ideally having engineering experience dealing with sectors such as: food manufacturing or medical or automotive.
Your background may be in special-purpose machinery, materials handling or similar engineered-to-order machinery or equipment.
Sectors such as medical, automotive or the food industry as they are the sectors the company works.
You need to already live in the Gloucester area.
The Role The purpose is to manage projects from scoping & specification with customer, design phase, equipment build, testing, installation & commissioning and hand over - you should therefore have experience of this nature.
As required be on site with a customer and trouble shoot or fault find, coming up with the initial solution along with engineering team You will manage project budgets ranging from £50k-£5m Plan, organize and manage customer meetings and design reviews.
Generate project budget Retain project ownership beyond the delivery phase into the warranty and after-sales phase.
Requirements Project Engineering background - design and customer facing exposure Familiarity with relevant manufacturing sectors; automotive, food, medical 2D / 3D CAD HNC or higher Mechanical Engineering, Controls or Automation related Full driving licence The Package Salary £40K-£50K 25 days holiday plus BH Full benefits package
