Project Control Engineers & Managers – Major Oil Operator & Global EPC Company (London-based, with travel) We are seeking experienced Project Control Engineers and Project Control Managers to join a new pipeline project based in the North Sea and for a major gas project in West Africa.
These exciting opportunities are available with a major oil operator and a global EPC company.
Key Responsibilities: Establish and direct systems for monitoring and controlling project status across all locations, including cost analysis, scheduling, and contract administration.
Implement project controls procedures for planning, scheduling, reporting, cost control, invoicing, risk analysis, and contract management.
Organize and integrate scheduling, cost control, and risk management functions to ensure the project is well-planned and controlled in terms of time, budget, and scope.
Oversee the setup of the Document Control System and coordinate the implementation of necessary information and application systems.
Supervise interfaces with engineering, installation, and administrative teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain the Project Control System during the execution phase, coordinate risk analysis, and ensure regular schedule and cost forecasting updates.
Prepare control and monitoring documents to assist the Project Manager in decision-making.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, including invoicing and supporting documentation.
Assist in contract changes/claims processes, and coordinate the Project Control team.
Essential Qualifications: Experience with EPIC/EPCI Contracts.
Proficiency in P6 and SAP.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
Previous experience in a similar role.
