Job Description: Programmer Location: Lisburn, Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 On behalf of my client, I am actively recruiting for a Programmer to work for a specialist interior and Refurbishment main contractor who have built an excellent reputation for delivering a wide range of high-end luxury projects across several sectors, including residential, hospitality, commercial and retail.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive Construction/Tender programmes, ensuring alignment with project goals, deadlines and logic linked to identify the critical path.
Collate & validate project progress & programme constraints and report to Senior Management Conduct regular visits to sites throughout UK/Ireland to conduct review of progress and review with the team any delays, risks and critical path analysis.
Produce weekly look-ahead programmes and manage critical paths.
Collaborate with the project team to gather information and updates on project timelines.
Identify scheduling conflicts and propose solutions to optimise project efficiency.
Monitor and analyse project progress, providing regular updates for progress reports.
Attend meetings as required including team meetings, sub-contractor and design meetings.
Utilise scheduling software to create detailed Gantt charts, timelines, and reports.
Monitor any changes and assess the impact on the programmes.
Where applicable, carry out delay analysis and prepare reports to assist with any EOT application Suggest programme recovery actions or programme betterment opportunities.
Maintain full change log records, for all programmes, as per Planning Process Operational experience with significant previous planning experience in the construction and fit out industry Master programming skills, covering design, procurement, pre-commencement, construction, and commissioning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting project deadlines.
Knowledge of project planning processes and the project life cycle.
Good IT skills with all Microsoft packages including Microsoft Projects or similar version and the ability to pick up new software quickly.
