Programme Manager - Irish Utilities

James Adams is looking for an experienced Programme Manager with extensive experience in the Irish Utilities sector.
This is a permanent position working mostly remote, 1 day per month in Derby.
Job Purpose To lead and deliver complex programmes within the Irish Utilities Market.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in programme management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the industry.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Alignment: Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for programmes, ensuring alignment with the organisation's overall goals.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define clear objectives and KPIs.
Programme Planning and Delivery: Develop comprehensive programme plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
Monitor programme progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to project methodologies and best practices.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Effectively communicate programme status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels.
Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver programme objectives.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Provide guidance and support to team members.
Financial Management: Manage programme budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimise resource utilisation.
Essential Skills and Experience Proven experience in programme management within the Irish Utilities Market Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall) Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong financial acumen Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proficiency in relevant project management tools and software Please send your CV now to apply!
