As a Programme Manager you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students by:Leading the management of the operation and development of the Curriculum within a defined programme area.Leading the management of Learning, Teaching, and Assessment (LTA) of programmes to ensure students experience high quality teaching and learning.
Representing your department/function at local and Group levels Ensuring the effective management and performance of your team within the directorate and oversee a high-quality provision from the teamEnsuring the achievement of both TBCG and departmental strategies and workplansEnsuring all Statutory requirements, policies and procedures are in place and effectively communicated, implemented and followed by all employees of TBCGCarrying out all aspects of the role in line with TBCG culture and valuesEnsuring the student experience is kept at the heart of everything your Directorate doesAbout you:A degree in specialist subject area (HSC or Science) or relevant industry experience and professional standing.
English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalentRecognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)Evidence of high performance in previous roles/jobsRelevant work experience in the sector to underpin subject leadership with credibility and authorityRecent experience of successful management/ team leadership in Further EducationExperience of teaching successfully across a range of levelsKnowledge and experience of quality assurance systems in Further EducationAbility to effectively lead and manage a team of professionalsAbility to consistently support a high-quality learning experience for all studentsAbility to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writingResponsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and for raising any concerns
