Programme Manager

Location: Cambridge, CB3 (Hybrid) Duration: 3-year fixed term contract Salary: £66,857 - £77,476 Hours: Monday to Friday, full time We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to lead and manage the delivery of a Finance Transformation Programme.
This role is pivotal in defining and managing programme governance, quality standards, and ensuring effective resource management.
Key Responsibilities: Governance and Quality Management: Define and manage programme-related governance processes, procedures, and quality standards.
Programme Management: Support the management of the schedule and budget at the programme level, ensuring effective resource management.
Stakeholder Engagement: Define interfaces with stakeholders within and outside the Finance Division, providing centralised support for managing changes, tracking risks, and issues.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Programme Management Office and all project workstreams, ensuring optimal service delivery.
Commercial Management: Manage complex relationships with contracted suppliers, negotiate contracts, and oversee business cases.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers.
Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in leadership and management.
Strong project management skills with the ability to make complex decisions.
Experience in building and maintaining delivery teams, optimizing delivery flow, and ensuring team motivation and collaboration.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and establish confidence at senior forums.
Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Project Management/Delivery qualification or demonstrable project delivery experience.
