TV is undergoing a major digital transformation, and has defined a series of strategic programmes that are fundamental to enabling us to compete in a highly challenging competitive environment.
One of these critical programmes focuses on leading the delivery of our Data programme. This is an exciting programme of work - aimed at transforming how ITV creates value from data. This role will be responsible for managing a significant degree of complexity and range of stakeholders to drive delivery of business outcomes from this programme across these business areas.
The role will be a part of the Transformation Management Office, which reports directly to the Group CFO/COO. This will provide opportunities to become involved in wider strategically-critical transformation initiatives as part of a growing and highly effective team driving change across ITV.
The role Act as senior delivery authority for the Data programmeWork with the CDO and senior business leaders to deliver ITV's data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth plans.Represent the programme alongside the Chief Data Officer at Boards, including escalating strategic risks and issues, and driving decisions around the speed and scope of the programmeAccountable for the operational delivery and financial performance of the programmeResponsible for overseeing the planning and execution of the individual workstreams, bringing rigour and a best practice approach throughoutBuild, lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team across all stages of the programmeDrive commercial relationships and value for money with third parties and vendor teams, in conjunction with ProcurementLead the creation of an agile, adaptable, innovative and creative approach to developing solutions as a working practice / culture within the programmeEstablish and oversee robust programme management governance and controlsLead planning, budgeting and business case development for the programme, with FinanceWork with other Transformation Programme Directors and the TMO s to ensure that cross programme dependencies are managed and understoodSupport other TMOs activities, for example, defining the Transformation Roadmap, operating model changes and alignment of transformation with ITV's wider strategySkills you'll need (minimum criteria)
Director level experience of leading the end-to-end delivery of complex data transformation programmesTaking accountability for the operational and financial performance of the programmeExperience in leading the development and execution of change plans for complex programmesOwnership of programme delivery to successfully deliver business outcomes and strategic benefitsExtensive Agile delivery experienceAbility to work independently, with little direction, and to tight and evolving deadlinesCredibility and gravitas when navigating Board level relationshipsManagement of complex stakeholder relationships, including C-suiteExperience of driving commercial relationships and value for money with third parties and vendor teamsOther things we're looking for (key criteria)
Demonstrable experience in leading the development and execution of large complex, data transformation programmesMaturity of skills and breadth of experience in programme management principles, methodologies and tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Jira, Google Suite)Experience of managing complex risks, issues and dependencies across transformation portfoliosExcellent stakeholder management and conflict management skillsThe ability to navigate relationships at senior management levelExcellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to facilitate workshops, present to and engage teamsExperience in creating high quality deliverables with excellent attention to detail, experience with Google suite preferableExperience of designing and implementing change management interventionsExperience in Data transformation and/or the media industry is highly beneficialExperience as a Management Consultant preferable ITV is for everyone.
