They are looking for an experienced and motivated Professional Indemnity Broker to join their team, specialising in commercial and real estate clients.
Role Overview: As a Professional Indemnity Broker specializing in Commercial and Real Estate sectors, you will be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of clients, offering tailored PI insurance solutions.
You will work closely with underwriters, clients, and other team members to assess risks, develop bespoke insurance packages, and deliver superior service to meet clients' unique needs.
Key Responsibilities: Client Management: Build, maintain, and nurture relationships with clients in the commercial and real estate sectors.
Understand their PI insurance needs and provide expert advice.
Risk Assessment & Analysis: Analyze clients' risk exposures and provide customized PI insurance solutions to protect against claims arising from negligence, errors, or omissions.
Policy Development: Structure, negotiate, and secure PI policies tailored to each client's risk profile, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments within commercial and real estate sectors.
Claims Support: Provide guidance and support to clients during the claims process, liaising with claims teams and insurers to ensure efficient resolution.
New Business Development: Identify potential new clients and market opportunities within the commercial and real estate sectors.
Present insurance solutions that align with their business needs.
Liaison with Underwriters: Build strong relationships with underwriters to negotiate favorable terms and conditions for clients.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all transactions and documentation adhere to regulatory standards and company policies.
Requirements: Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience in professional indemnity insurance, with a focus on commercial and/or real estate sectors.
Education: Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field (CII or relevant certification preferred).
Skills: Strong understanding of professional indemnity insurance and risk management principles.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with clients and underwriters.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and present complex risks clearly.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development and client management.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance products, industry regulations, and compliance requirements specific to PI and the commercial/real estate sector.
