Production Team Leader

Accept Recruitment is looking for an experienced Production Team Leader to join our client's food production facility based in Leicester, LE4.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure the safety and well-being of all staff, visitors, and contractors by following Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
Supervise and manage production, packing, and warehouse teams to meet daily KPIs and production targets.
Train team members on production, packaging, and warehouse processes, ensuring they follow safety and quality standards.
Perform safety and quality control (QC) checks, ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards.
Maintain efficient stock rotation of raw materials and packaging supplies.
Deputise for the section lead when necessary.
Act as a role model, leading the team by example, and ensuring compliance at all times.
Flexibly support different areas of the business to meet service levels.
Requirements: Previous experience in a fast-paced food production environment, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant systems (desirable).
Food Safety and Health & Safety training (desirable).
Ability to work efficiently, meet production targets, and maintain high standards under pressure.
Benefits: Competitive pay rate of £11.94 per hour.
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM working hours, offering work-life balance.
