Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor ( PERMANENT ROLE ) Woking £35 - 40K Production Supervisor ,required for a Specialist manufacturing business based in Woking.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for supporting the Production Manager by leading staff; organizing and monitoring workflow and ensuring the team are meeting monthly targets.
You will be Maintaining the workflow by monitoring steps of the process; understanding manufacturing bottlenecks and problem solving, monitoring the skills matrix and resources; implementing cost reductions, communicating well with other departments to ensure team involvement.
The company are growing rapidly and are looking for skilled Fitters who can step up to a lead fitter role in the future, pick up the role and learn, develop your skills and drive to meet the production targets.
Skills and Responsibilities: Adhering to and communicating work instructions provided in the absence of the Production Manager Communicating job expectations Planning, monitoring and appraising job results Coaching, counselling and disciplining direct reports Initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures Supporting the Production Manager with driving the team to meet monthly targets and monitoring production output.
