MCS Group is proud to be partnered with an award-winning manufacturing company based in County Derry to recruit a Production Supervisor.
As the Production Supervisor, you will oversee the manufacturing operations, manage the production team, maintain high-quality standards, and implement continual improvements.
This is a hands-on role, reporting to the Production/Quality Manager and company directors.
Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the daily production of ice cream and sorbet.
Ensure all products meet standards and specifications.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
Manage HACCP systems and accurate record-keeping.
Handle SALSA accreditation and external audits.
Plan staff schedules and manage production rosters.
Monitor costs and production yields to meet financial targets.
Supervise and train production staff to uphold company standards.
Assist with production planning to meet demand.
Ensure a clean and organised working environment.
Essential Criteria A food-related degree or equivalent 3+ Years of relevant food manufacturing experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
Intermediate or Advanced Food Hygiene qualification.
Strong communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a production team.
