Production Supervisor

Description The Production Supervisor role is designed to oversee and guide packing team towards achieving project and organizational goals with efficiency and coherence.
This position involves a strategic blend of mentorship, project management, and operational oversight to ensure that team efforts align with broader company objectives.
What Will You Do?
Preparing work according to production schedule and assign workers production line tasks.
Evaluating incoming orders and setting up the production line accordingly.
Optimizing packing line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner.
Training and supervising new packing line workers.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time.
Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment at all times.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Participating in SOP creation and review process.
Complete a comprehensive shift report at the end of each shift, record accurately all downtime and inform Production Manager of any issues.
Recognize high and low performance, and feedback to the Production Manager.
Support the Production Manager on continuous improvement activities.
Complete weekly stock checks for your department and flag low stock levels to the Production Manager.
Knowledge of D365 will be essential, ability to complete tasks without supervision.
Identify problems which may occur and take appropriate action to resolve the situation, updating managers or other departments as necessary.
Ensuring housekeeping (clean as you go) and 5S system is strictly adhered to.
Ensuring all team members are trained in all areas of the KR department monitoring, controlling, and minimizing waste.
Feedback all issues as well as improvements suggestions.
Undertaking such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post e.g.
Covering Production Managers absence.
