Working as a Production Shift Manager for a leading manufacturer in South Wales - £60K 4on 4off Your new company A leading manufacturing business in South Wales is seeking to add a Production Shift Manager, working on a 4on 4off basis due to a recent internal promotion. With a healthy looking order book, this FMCG business will provide you with long-term security and a career growth path.Your new role As the Production Shift Manager, you will be working on a 4on 4off basis on rotational 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am). Within this leadership role, you will be reporting to the Site General Manager whilst managing 12 direct reports, and 100 indirect reports. Within the Production Shift Manager role, you will be expected to manage performance, track KPI delivery and support in the coaching and development of your team to aid them in their career growth. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in your application for this manufacturing leadership position, you must have a proven track record of managing a large team of multidisciplined individuals, including planners, operatives and engineers. You will have looked into continuous improvements previously. Ideally, you'll hold a professional accreditation certificate, but this won't be crucial to the success of your application. It would be highly beneficial to have gained an ILM (or a similar leadership qualification); in addition to this, they're ideally looking to bring in someone with experience of high-volume, low-margin manufacturing. What you'll get in return As the Production Shift Manager, you'll be paid a generous salary of up to £60,000, which will be dependent upon your experience.
