Job Title Production Planning EngineerLocation: LutonSalary: £40,000.00-£42,000.00 per yearJob Type: Permanent/ Full time (Onsite)About the role: The Production Planning Engineer shall generate and control aircraft maintenance work packages, ensuring regulatory compliance at all times.Duties and Responsibilities: To generate and issue comprehensive maintenance packages of work for production staff in accordance with the relevant regulatory airworthiness requirements and departmental proceduresTo create and maintain master work cards/databases where required for specific projects, identify sub-contract requirements, spares and toolingLiaise with internal departments and external customers, as deemed necessary to provide clear and concise work instructionsTo generate and issue the operators maintenance packages of work for production staffSchedule maintenance work ahead for predetermined customersComplete an allocation board to capture all the aircraft planned for the next shiftLiaise with internal departments and external customers, as deemed necessary to provide clear and concise work instructionsTo assist the Planning Manager with daily operation where support may be requiredHave commercial awareness of the impact that decisions can have to the customer and to the business as a wholeFlexibility and adaptability towards rapidly changing situationsAbility to work under pressure to react to operational requirements and time constraintsAbility to work on own initiative and prioritise workLiaise with Safety and Compliance to ensure compliance with procedures and auditsAssisting with the promotion of compliance and safety issues within the company About you: 2 years working in aircraft maintenance, production planning or airline environment; orExperience in MRO IT software, such as AMOS, OASES, Rusada etc would be an advantage but not essential 1.2 Training & Knowledge:Technical experience in aviation and able to demonstrate knowledge of airworthiness regulation; andHave a working knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Planning; andHigh standard of English language (written and oral)High standard of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional organisation skillsOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of programs used in daily office administration functions such as Word and ExcelAbility to handle confidential informationExcellent problem-solving skillsAptitude for helping others Benefits: 7% employer Pension contributionLife AssurancePrivate Health CarePrivate DentalFree eye tests and contribution towards glassesEmployee Referral Programme Please click the APPLY button to submit your CV for this roleCandidates with experience or relevant job titles of; Aviation Production Planner, Aircraft Manufacturing Planner, Aerospace Production Engineer, Maintenance Planning Engineer, or Operations Planning Specialist may also be considered
